T8 LED Tube Light

They are extensively used asT8 led tube light on electronic devices as well as in higher power uses as in case of flashlights and place lighting. As per the methodology that is technological, an LED is a light source which may be visible, infrared or ultra violet. The color is determined by the composition and condition of the semi conducting material. Found in the year 1907 by H.J Round, a British experimenter, earlier these T8 led tube light were used as replacements for incandescent indicators only.


The white colour of the T8 led tube light come from a narrow band blue that GaN LEDs emit naturally. A phosphor coating generates the yellow on the other hand on the die which converts the blue to yellow and absorbs a percentage of it. These GaN die can produce wavelengths that are operational from green by changing the relative amounts of indium and gallium during creation. When electrical employed in the forward direction of the apparatus it results in a kind of electro luminescence where incoherent and narrow -spectrum light is discharged in the p-n junction in a solid state stuff.


LED technology has taken the world into a whooping stage of development since it is very useful in conservation of energy and pollution. Some of the significant advantages of the bulb are –

1. T8 led tube light are more efficient when compared to the normal bulbs and tube lights. They generate more light per watt against an incandescent bulb and also this facet makes it very useful when used in battery powered or energy -saving apparatus.

2. This technology has the ability of emitting various colours of light without the utilization of colors filters that traditional lighting methods need, thus saving first costs.

3. As a result of their small size, they could be readily set and they also light up quite quickly and reach total brightness in microseconds.

4. These T8 led tube light have a much better cycling life also radiate much less heat in the process of changing off and on and as compare to incandescent bulbs.

5. They have an improved life span around 35,000 to 50,000 hours of life that is useful and LEDs mostly fail by dimming over time, rather than the abrupt burn out of incandescent bulbs as in comparison to incandescent lights.

6. These T8 led tube light are shock resistant and the solid bundle of the LED can be designed to focus its light. The fact they are non poisonous (do not include mercury) also favors the application of these lightbulbs.
